Born and raised in Central Minnesota, Courtney Maier grew up in the small town of Royalton, where she cultivated a strong creative focus throughout her high school years. Drawn to art from an early age, she has explored a wide range of mediums, including painting, oil painting, digital art, charcoal, and graphite. As a fully self-taught artist, she takes particular pride in her freehand illustration work.
Courtney’s interest in tattooing began at a young age and led her to start her tattoo apprenticeship in September 2025. What she values most about tattooing is the opportunity for her art to become part of people’s lives, carrying personal meaning long after the session ends. She finds deep fulfillment in meeting new people and collaborating with clients to create thoughtful, one-of-a-kind designs.
